Prof. Alan Levander let us know that they are going to have three workshops on Direct imaging methods (migration, adjoint methods, etc) supported by an NSF grant. The other principal investigators are Rick Aster (New Mexico Tech), Gary Pavlis (Indiana University), Stephane Rondenay (MIT). The workshops will be held once a year from now until 2008 . Please see Project Summary on "Collaborative Research: Imaging Science Workshops for USArray". Their workshops will be interesting for people working on scattering and medium heterogeneity. Update: News (December 5, 2005) Dear collegue,
I would like to draw your attention to a session at the General Assembly 2006 of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) that may interest you. This meeting will be held in Vienna, Austria, 02-07 April 2006. See the official call for paper at http://meetings.copernicus.org/egu2006/. |
